Before you write
Two of the most common reports have answers already, so it's worth a quick look:
- An outlet's stories look hours old.
- Each card shows when that outlet was last fetched. Fetches run roughly every two hours, but when a publisher's feed is unreachable we keep its previous stories rather than blanking the card — so an old timestamp usually means their feed is down, not that the site is stuck. If it stays old for a day, please do tell us.
- A big outlet is missing from a country.
- Often deliberate. Several major outlets publish no working feed at all — CNN's and Xinhua's, for instance, still return content from years ago — so including them would show old news as current. Every omission is recorded with its reason. If you know of a working feed we've missed, that's genuinely useful.
- The order doesn't match the outlet's own front page.
- Some difference is expected — the order is our reconstruction from how prominently the outlet's homepage is running each story, not a ranking the outlet publishes, and section 3 of the Terms explains what that can and cannot do. If it looks badly wrong rather than slightly off, tell us which outlet and we'll check.

We show only headlines and short excerpts taken from feeds you publish for syndication, and every headline links back to your article — but if you'd rather not be included, we'll remove you without argument.
